Magic Kingdom 2012

All ready to go.  She was the first one up and ready

Jake and Grandpa riding the ferry to the Magic Kingdom

Taking a breather after running through Swiss Family Robinson's house
Jungle Cruise
The People Mover ride

Country Bear Jamboree
Tea Cups - (one of Zoe's favorates)

The castle after dark.  I love how it changes colors.
I just might need to work out another trip soon.
They are remodeling Fantasy Land and it opens this fall. :)

Hidden Mickey

Bryan gave me this book for my birthday the week before our trip.
I had heard of "Hidden Mickeys" but never paid attention before.
We actually tried looking for them this time.  We found several but didn't take many pictures.
Here are a few of the ones we found.

I'm not sure that this would be considered a hidden mickey but the kids insist it is.
I can't wait until next time to hunt for a few more.

Cocoa Beach, FL 2012

We decided we couldn't go a whole week in Florida with out letting the kids play on a beach.
We opted for Cocoa Beach this time.

Too bad we didn't bring their swimsuits.
They were pretty wet by the time we left.
They learned how fun wet clothes and sand could be.

Searching for shells

Burying Jake in the Sand

Had to attempt a sand castle.  Didn't have any buckets so turned out as more of a sand pyramid.
Of course we had to include a garage for our castle that was almost as big as the castle.
(Dad and Jake wouldn't have it any other way)

Wind Storm

I just couldn't let the wind storm of the year go by without at least posting a few pictures.  The storm seems to be finally over but there are still areas without power.  Everybody seems to be in cleanup mode now.  I was pretty lucky.  I just had to reassemble the furniture on my front porch, retrieve my garbage can from the neighbors yard, etc.  Nothing major.  I did see alot of damage from this storm on my way to work the last two day.  Yesterday on my way to work I passed 5 tipped over semis on I-15 and 2 tipped over trailers.  According to the news the winds reach catagory 2 hurricane speeds.  I found these pictures posted by people on KSL.com.  Thought I'd include a few.
