This year my dad accepted an invitation to attend The Ride Home.
The event was held Sept. 17-18 in Andersonville GA
at the home of the National Prisoners of War Museum.
The event was organized by a biker group "Rolling Thunder"
Part of the ceremony each day was an escort ride through Americus to Andersonville National Historic Site. Each former POW rode with one of the bikers for this escort ride.
This is the biker that my dad rode with for the escort ride.
His name is William W. Horn
